KV School New Uniform 2012

New Pattern of Uniform for Kendriya Vidyalayas
All Kendriya Vidyalayas shall have a common uniform.
Review of the school uniform adopted in Kendriya Vidyalayas…
The following patterns of uniforms are prescribed…

I – VSHIRT : Blue, Grey, White and Red Checkered* Mandarin collar Collar facing and Half sleeve edges in red and Red Placket.
SHORTS : Plain grey Front with a patch and side hip pocket incorporated together Back with two velt pockets.
SHIRT (Woollen) : Blue, Grey, White and Red Checkered* Mandarin collar Collar facing and Half sleeve edges in red and Red Placket.TROUSERS (Woollen) : Plain grey Front with a patch and side hip pocket incorporated together Back with two velt pockets.
JACKET : Hooded full and half sleeved or Navy Blue V-Neck Sweater with red stripe.
JACKET : Hooded full and half sleeved or Navy Blue V-Neck Sweater with red stripe in the neck and sleeve and waist.
VI – XIISENIOR BOYS (SECONDARY) SHIRT :
Blue, Grey, White and Red Checkered* Placket shirt collar
TROUSERS : Plain grey pleats in front Normal side pockets in front two velt pockets at the back.
SENIOR BOYS (SECONDARY) SHIRT (Woollen) : Blue, Grey, White and Red Checkered Mandarin Normal shirt collar
TROUSERS (Woollen) : Plain grey in front Normal side pockets in front Two velt pockets at the back.
JACKETS : Hooded full and half sleeved or Navy Blue V-Neck Sweater with red stripe in the neck and sleeve and waist

III – VIIISENIOR GIRLS (MIDDLE and SECONDARY) SHIRT: Blue, Grey, White and Red Checkered* normal shirt collar Contrasting collar stand, over placket and half sleeve edges.SKIRT : Plain grey broad box pleated at front and back divided red stripe at the hem.
SENIOR GIRLS (MIDDLE and SECONDARY) SHIRT: Blue, Grey, White and Red checkered* normal shirt collar contrasting collar stand over placket and sleeve edges.SKIRT : Plain Grey (Grey) leggings
JACKETS : hooded full and half sleeved or
CARDIGAN : Navy blue full sleeved / half sleeved with red lining
IX – XIISENIOR GIRLS KURTI: Blue, Grey, White and Red Checkered* Mandarin collar with front opening above the waist sleeve edges and collar in red side slits with Waist Coat.Bottom Wear : Trousers plain grey Strait cut
SENIOR GIRLS KURTI S (Woollen): Blue, Grey, White and Red Checkered* Mandarin collar with front opening above the waist full sleeve edges and collar in red side slits with Waist Coat.Bottom Wear : Trousers plain grey Strait cut
CARDIGAN : Navy blue sleeved / half sleeved with red lining.

Other than uniform, Shoes, Tie, Belt and Hair band etc.,
ALL CLASSES FOR PHEHouse wise T Shirts with white collars with the colour options of blue, green, red and sun yellow and Navy Blue Track pants with white lining for both boys and girls.
SHOESCommon shoes for all days for both Boys and Girls. No canvas shoes. Grey socks with red lining for summer. Navy blue socks with red lining for winter.
TIENavy blue with woven monogram.
BELTBlue and Grey knitted fabric belt with monogram on the buckle.
HEAD GEAR FOR THE SIKH BOYSTrouser matching Turban with red colour fifty.
SCARF FOR MUSLIM GIRLSGrey colour scarf matching with the bottom wear with red hem on the corners.
HAIR ACCESSORIES FOR GIRLSRed ribbon or hair bands can be used if required.
